Has #newmoney not found out about Haymarket yet because they are still filling howlers of Clare's Thirsty Ale.

Or is it still available just because it isn't in a waxed bottle?

First, love the avatar. Second, they haven't discovered it yet. Outside of a few beers though Haymarket brews mediocre stuff for the most part so I don't foresee it ever becoming a #newmoney playground.

Swung by on my late shift for an extra growler for the wife today..

The guy that eventually sat next to me promptly bought 4 ozers of both barrel aged beers, untappd ticked them, then bought a Thirsty 32 Oz growler and flat out left this sitting there as he ambled out..

Do these people even like the beer they buy? One of these is indeed Thirsty

I might have asked for a clean glass and figured out which for myself.

#newmoney seems appropriate for this statement

Aaaaargh. On the off chance anyone is willing to goandpickitupformebro, one of my trading partners really wants to try this and there's no way I can get there before I leave town tomorrow morning.

So good.

Bourbon county at midway airport is 19 bucks for an 8oz plastic cup. I laughed so hard I pee'd a little and ordered a sam Adams. He said he sells about ten a day but he should have just said #newmoney.

Not gonna lie, I would contemplate buying that if it made Midway bearable. I ******* hate that airport.

Is it the lack of traffic around it or the much quicker security process relative to O'Hare that you hate?

On non-holidays I get from curb-side to the gate in 20 minutes. Shruggy-shoulders-guy.webm

before my last time flying to england, i dreaded o'hare terminal 5. zero food options outside ****** convenience store sandwiches, and the booze options were worse still. apparently it's gotten way better now.

Ha, learned that myself this evening...about an hour before you did. Same reaction. No Sam Adams. GTFO'd.

Clare's Thirsty just kicked. Got the second to last howler.
And I was the first person to not get a glass... dick. ;)

Had to go with that simcoe IPA.

Edit: Anyone know why Rhine Hall Distillery was closed yesterday before 8:30? We were stopping at all five distillers in Chicago for science but got turned away by a handwritten sign offering a free drink but no explaination.

No clue, I used to help out a ton there with apple crushing, bottling and distilling. It's a very small operation and sometimes don't have enough staff on hand to run the tasting room and do special events. I can text Ari (the head distiller) for an answer if you like?
