There's a car wash in Bend, OR that has a growler fill station I'll be hitting up when I'm out there in July.

We're there for a wedding so not too much time. Trying to set up a time at Ale Apothocary to sample and take a look around. Other than that the usual suspects, Crux, Boneyard, Dechutes, etc.

Oregon is supremely awesome (beer) country. I wanna go check out Logsdon pretty bad, their property looks sweet.
Cascade was amazing. HotD was cool too, but I couldn't enjoy it to its full potential since I was driving a rental. They had like nothing under 12%. I bought a $24 12oz Anniversary beer I had to share with random people at the bar just to get out of there alive.

You can't go wrong with anything in Portland, I was less impressed with Cascade, but found The Commons and Burnside were some nice suggestions from friends of ours. Pok Pok is a MUST on Division and if you get some time APEX is also worth a stop, now if you've got some money to burn and enjoy amazing food book a Chef's Menu Tasting at Roe, it's set you back $500+, but it's well worth it...

I enjoyed sitting out at Cascade during the summer drinking that Honey Ginger Lime. I cannot recommend enough going to Belmont Station for bottles and a couple pours at the bar next door. Agreed APEX is worth a stop as well.

Also, if you do have a rental and want to day trip from Portland. Drive out to Pacific City and go to Pelican.

I go out to PDX about once a year.

Logsdon is a 3 hour round trip from PDX. Haven't pulled the trigger cause that's pretty much a full day.

Love HotD and Cascade. Double trouble that they are within walking distance of each other.

Wish degardebrewing was open M/T/W.

Belmont Station is super nice, but I think their bottle prices are higher than other places. I like Beermongers for drinking while perusing bottles. John's Market Place for bottles, but unfortunately they have no bar there.

The Visiting Portland Thread on BA is great and usually up to date:

This recent discussion has me talking with my wife about a trip to Portland now. Damn, it sounds awesome.

If you two are campers, I suggest doing a week or so out there, hit up the breweries you want around Portland, then head north up 101 to Olympic Peninsula National Park. My wife and I did that trip in 2010 and it's still our most memorable trip outside of our honeymoon.

Second Penrose Wild release next weekend. Excellent changes IMO. Indoor lineup for the early folks. Tickets so you don't have to stay in line all afternoon. 4 oz pours and a wild saison on draft. I'll be out of town for a wedding, but hopefully a number of folks enjoy the new beers.

I will gladly be there again on the 24th.... Plus CASH sales for bottles this time!!!

Somebody didn't watch the video...

Sweet Video... I also happened to spot a rather handsome looking fellow in a cubs beanie in the line at the 1:47 mark

Also have they realeased the bottle counts yet? Id be curious to know if it will be the same as 5&6(300) or will it be >/<300

There's still going to be a line and probably a long one. But, at 10:30 they're going to hand out tickets so you don't have to keep standing in line. Not sure what the purchase window will be at that point.

I'm pretty sure they have the exact same amount of Wild 7/8 as they did 5/6.

Excuse my ignorance on the enormity that is craft beer lines but opinions on if Hunter Coconut will still be around after Saturday's release? I'm assuming no.
