No. However Jesus H. Christ this **** has gotten out of hand.

I honestly think the problem is trading. Every moron that gets into craft beer and first discovers trading thinks he/she can just gobble up every new release and trade it for the most popular thing available. I bet more than half the bottles bought in Chicago aren't drunk by the people that actually buy them.

Many many times now I've made a Binny's stop on my lunch break to see if there is any of a release left (never is) and it never fails that there will be a woman with a armful of the releases that were just tweeted about and talking, obviously frustrated/bored, to a husband or boyfriend on the phone and telling them "yeah I got that one" or "no they're sold out." I once saw a woman hand the Binny's employee a list and say "My husband told me to come get these beers."

When my wife used to work nights, I would occasionally ask her to pick me something up if I didn't think it would last until I got off work. I don't see the problem.

I'd also like to see these blanks filled in.

___ % of Chicago craft beer drinkers account for ___% of limited release purchases.

I imagine it would look like those healthcare costs stats where 5% of people are 50% of the spending. I'm not sure why I joined CCBE nor why I haven't removed myself and then punched myself in the d*** for having joined, but it's the same people who know about every G damn release for something limited.

I'm here. Who else is here! Who else was at the previous customer service desk line. Ha ha! We are so craft.

Starting to think someone might actually die on Black Friday.

Yeah my wife has retrieved a beer or two for me but that's a pretty rare event as it is.

It's the best free entertainment on Facebook.

Hurry up and make me bottles of your peach stuff :)

Cant drink it anymore... to limited...
we're properly brite'ing it and are gonna bottle condition it. Might have to wait a while but the good news is that it will taste a **** ton better.

I'm bringing three 4elf first-timers. Not even sure how to prepare them.

Have them stand in a meat locker all night drinking high ABV beer without going to bed. Then punch them in the face once they come out. Pretty much encompasses everything that happens in the 4elf line.

Nailed it.

All I'm hoping at this point is that I can get a bottle of Allagash Farm to Face from my local Binny's on my lunch break tomorrow. Nobody really seems to care much about that beer but I like Allagash and stone fruits. If I fail at that, then I officially give up on the Chicago beer scene.

Will you be at the next Transient event? If so and you can't score one, I should be able to grab two from my spot and bring it to the event for you. Just let me know.

If I can't score one, I'll be sure to make some sort of scorched earth report right here. Either way, I'll get some freshly bottled Fractal from Penrose. Love my Amarillo hops.

I'll be there on the 30th for sure. Not sure I'll be there by 11AM, but I'll be there. Not missing another release. Look forward to seeing some of you boners so we can all bitch about **** in person.

After last year, I don't think I will ever wait in line for those beers again. After the party you could buy every beer except plead in as high a quantity as you wanted.
