I know the guy. He entered the lottery with no intention of buying, but already planning to put up a ridiculous ISO. He figured if there was some idiot desperate enough for a truffle pilsner to give up great beer, would reap a windfall. Of course, not the best way to build trading credibility, but somewhat explains his ridiculous request.

Am I missing something or what? On GI events link, they list the ******* intersection of where the event will be held, but no mention of the actual establishment. http://www.gooseisland.com/showEvents.html
Example, for Black Friday 11/28
Corners of Damen, Milwaukee & North Avenues
Event time: 12:00pm-2:00pm
Bourbon County Stout Release along with all four varieties
Am I supposed to find their beers on the corner? Double Door? Is this a wild ******* goose hunt?
do 50 unemployed beers nerds live one mile from the binnys orland store? Is there a release of anything there that hasn't sold out in an hour? The beer guy can tweet out we got stone's belgo anise stout in, and it will be gone in an hour.Abraxas sold out at OP Binny's in under 30 minutes.

People are going to get trampled at the rootbeer release this Saturday. I'm thinking about going out for it just to get an idea of how bad the bourbon county release will be.

One can only hope...
That's ******* stupid.... get a real job people
citra did that the first few times it rolled out....Babhahaha, how is this even possible? Every single beer released sells out in no time flat??
Is the next step every new Pipeworks beers selling out in <30min?
I've actually had a store manager say when he wants to move slow moving stock he'll put a "limit 1" or "limit 2" tag on a beer and it works!I think the rule is that there needs to be a limit enforced by the store in order for people to flock there.

Is is good business practice....no, but I do get a chuckle at the lemmings who fall for it.
Maybe every Binny's is starting to hold back a couple cases of every new hawt release to cellar and sell for max profits down the road?Babhahaha, how is this even possible? Every single beer released sells out in no time flat??

That was actually the last one I've attended as well. Do they still do those awesome bottle releases with the killer food/snacks?It has to still be available at the brewery, right? I haven't been to one of their releases since last year's Deth's Tar, but they've always had a ton of bottles and no limit.
