He figured if there was some idiot desperate enough for a truffle pilsner to give up great beer, would reap a windfall. Am I supposed to find their beers on the corner? Double Door? Is this a wild ******* goose hunt?

I confirmed that it's the Walgreens. They expect a line to start by 7 AM... I'm sure they will be surprised by the turnout.

I think the rule is that there needs to be a limit enforced by the store in order for people to flock there.

I've actually had a store manager say when he wants to move slow moving stock he'll put a "limit 1" or "limit 2" tag on a beer and it works!


Is is good business practice....no, but I do get a chuckle at the lemmings who fall for it.
