Considering I spent 15 minutes trying to figure out how to tie in the mark mothersbaugh Hawaiian Punch commercial to the name of our Hawaiian Punch collab with maplewood, you know the answer to that. Weird that maplewood didn’t want to go with “Sugar is bad for you” (the subliminal message in commercial). If we do use this, do I owe you something? A case?

Stopped by Bixi last evening, gorgeous space, mediocre service, unforgettable beers. Some were just downright awful...

Yeah, Tom and I ordered a second round of beers, I ordered the IPA and he got the wheat. The server brought out 2 identical glasses of the wheat and announced the name of each as we had ordered. After about 10 minutes we were able to flag him down and tell him that he gave me the wrong beer. He assured me that he gave me the IPA and I was mistaken. We had to tell him multiple times that it was the wrong beer before he relented and took it back...

That shrimp and crab dip, tho.

Finally got to publican for brunch, albeit sans vav. Best damn Belgian waffle, and the pecan bun and the pork porterhouse were insane

Similar experience, we were even kicke out of the lounge area upstairs because you aren’t allowed to eat food on their couches. Which seems weird since you can spill beer all over everything, but heavens if you drop a fry. Not planning on going back anytime soon...

I've been at Metro's taproom pretty much all day. It's lovely, however there is a cover of Wonderwall playing right now, which is weird.
