FWIW I don't think trading or playing that game is a terrible thing in and of itself. I think it's a learning experience and the longer you do it, the bigger it ends up being.

What I don't understand is the people that STILL do it big time that were doing it hard 6.. 8.. 10 years ago.

Aren't you tired?

What is this "Fully Saturated Double Daisy Cutter"?

HA's response to IG commenter asking the same thing yesterday: "fully saturated is a term we’re using to describe and alternate approach to brewing practice, hopping methods and rates. It’s about flavor inclusion. Retention above all. And it looks like it crawled out of a storm drain."

I'm just as confused as before.

Assumption: the "Fully Saturated" is a hazy/juicy version of DDC. The "looks like it crawled out of a storm drain" comment makes it sound like they were forced to do this against their will.

Half Acre: "We regret to inform you that we have made a hazy, juicy Double Daisy Cutter variant. It's disgusting and we apologize. For the sake of the public we have contained the release to only within our taprooms."

The Internet: "This sounds great. Storm Drain IPA's are the best kind of IPA's and we're looking forward to paying twice as much as we did for the gross, clear version of this IPA we liked a lot last year. Why are you being so defensive about this profound improvement in taste and sophistication?"

HA: "They MADE us make it. Again, we are super sorry."

TI: "Who is they?"

HA: [averts eye contact, then casually walks away]
