So you can’t or won’t? Cool. Calling me a ticker in so many words isn’t really helping your case either. I can think of maybe 6 beers I’ve had from SO, the 2 most remarkable I’ve mentioned. This isn’t that hard, someone asked why a person would drink their beer, I answered it.

Thanks for playing though Kev, always a pleasure.

I edited my comment for clarity as you wrote this. I think this should clear up my position, also the LYMI is meant to convey this is very tongue in cheek here - I love how you get when challenged by a somewhat flimsy argument. I miss your threads on FB (I'm not on The Facebook anymore). Never change. :)

Oh yeah, the edit helped. “I’m out of market now and I don’t know this beer. Typical vav”

And I dunno, if half your posts weren’t just criticisms of **** I’ve said or done, and now **** I haven’t said, maybe I wouldn’t get defensive. But who knows. Classic vav.

Update on Prairie Krafts is that there is no update.

white oak...that ain’t cedar. Lemme know when cedar is made again. Also thinkin we're gonna do a series of your not gonna make it anymore so I might make a shittier version. cedar pale ale, rayon vert, olde english porter, metacabras, jack d'or, etc. like a ****** covers album

What's the deal with Warpigs? Did that fall through or something?

The physical space? I haven’t heard anything. The beer is made at Great Central and is lovely, it’s nice to see a craft contract brewer do everything right.

All reports from Europe are that they’re killin’ it

Dissenting opinions and interpretations are not to be discussed or commented upon. Half my posts are Vav **** posts. Got it.

For the record, that means there are 441 Vav **** posts with over 2.5K likes on my profile if there were an even split of likes on said posts and non **** post Vav comments.

You makig fun of someone for being too easily butthurt is making my day. Please continue.

One time Solemn Oath made a big roasty hoppy stout named Combat Marshmallow, and all the pastry boys bought it because it had marshmallow in the name, then proceeded to give it negative reviews for not tasting like marshmallow, even though the description on the label says it features massive resinous piney hop flavor.

So they are ok in my book.

Only 441? That’s JV numbers. How are we supposed to catch the San Diego thread?

That canned galaxy hop pale ale from Pipeworks coming out on Friday sounds like a slam dunk. Their galaxy hop bombers back in the day were appointment drinking for me when I went to stores and bought beer.

I wonder if the Foudre Red being released by Goose will be any good. The Flanders Red that Clybourn bottled and poured at festivals was fantastic. Friends got me a couple bottles when my first child was born because they knew how much I enjoyed it. Good times. Hope it is similar to that one. One of them now works for Solemn Oath, so BOOM this story is now relevant to the current topic. I did it!

Had the Foudre Red at Fulton a couple of months back and it was very tasty, but how often do folks get excited by Flanders Red?

Hoping it just sits around Brasserie Noir and I can drink at my leisure in the upcoming months.

A bunch of us fogies got kinda misty-eyed over the C&C La Folie announcement, so maybe?

Related: C&C La Folie is good! without doing an A:B compare to a 22oz I'd say it was drier and less acetic, and I wonder if maybe they are packaging at a higher pH with the expectation that over time it may become more sour. I'm not a scientist.

Warpigs DK stuff is really good. It's underwhelming their portfolio is so short here.

I was told by some FFF guys at Huna Day that the space on California is deader than dead.

Whats weird is that space looks like its 80% built out both inside and outside. Inside there was a short deli meat/cheese looking counter. I was curious if it might be a take on the Warpigs Deli popup they did in CPH last year.
