How many Middlebrow lap dance coupons does that include?
you can pick-up the tickets/coupons from me starting at noon at dark matter osmium while I work but you are free to start lining up inside the store around 8am. those coupons entitle you to one very sloppy strip tease from one of the three skinny hipster jagoff fellas of middle brow and again that price is all inclusive.

I actually thought GI Wrigley was already closed o_O I remember an article/announcement that it was closing quite a while ago. Guess I just assumed that happened.

Well it "closed" last year as well, but re-opened for the 2015 baseball season after a year lease was worked out. Now they are closing again.

1. "Napa BCS" or "Napa County Stout" is a confusing name. I think it's often used nowadays for just straight Red Wine Barreled BCS or any type. Perhaps making more sense of a Missouri wine barrel being slapped with the "Napa" designation as seen above. An effective naming for sure especially if they consider it as a variant/full blown release in the future. However, originally Napa County Stout involved wild yeast elements and was a pretty distinct product compared to others. They were Merlot barrels with brett brux from my records first appearing at Stoutfest 2012. Though the name's use over the years for products that weren't that has diluted it's usefulness and meaning, I think, as far as to what many of us refer to when we use the term.

2. It appears there is a mutiny afoot in Justin Carrol's FB Trade group. Entertaining, to say the least.

Cherry Wheatwine wont have people lining up hours early, at least not compared to a Barrel Aged Stout, or A Barrel Aged Stout wif Adjuncts. See Cthulhu and Nthulhu

Never been a big fan of BA Wheatmiser myself.. had some of the beer they are releasing (wick Cherries) at Beer Under Glass when it was called Cubby Deluxe. It was alright. I'll assume the name was changed for obvious reasons (in regards to a bottle release).

I see this guy mentioned all the time in some of the big general trade groups and other places, often with his own hashtag as is the case for a few other notorious individuals. What's the deal there?

I'm sure some of the people that are more active and vocal in those groups could better elaborate. As far as I can tell, he's been the kind of guy who doesn't take criticism or teaching well (We all started in this game and were idiots at some point.. most of us still have said moments). He was frequently a target because of this in many of the Facebook groups. So much so that he started his own groups and kept out all the people that he thought were mean to him.

Apparently, he pre-sells beers he "contracts" at other breweries and slaps Matt Van Wyk's name on them too.

"Gives credit" to anyone he even remotely gets input from, then associates then with his utter **** dickery. $50 for a bottle of untested BA stout like he is FFF.

Oh this is the guy behind that #NewMoney beer that has a bunch of executive producer-level brewer namedrops on it?

Not an expert in wine barrels, but I'm pretty sure the 'Missouri' just refers to the source of the oak. It has a J Lohr tag on it and all of their vineyards are in California, although not necessarily Napa County.

middlebrow, do I want to drink ad astra?
its beer, its subjective. if you dig hoppy/bitter americany wee heavies with a ton of english caramel then maybe not. if you like a more subtle toffee/mild chocolate, with a bitterness from malts and not hops than ya. its in no way close to style because i hate bitter hop mouth, we opted to capture that tongue sensation & balance bittering by adding the salt. its ****** weird, depending on your buds and what you eat, the salt makes you taste all sorts of weird flavors on the beer from raisins to peat to like a bitter orange. I dont know, ask the bar tender for a sample or get a single bottle at bottles & cans.

And do I win a prize if I buy enough bottles of Hey Citrus?
I wish I could make that again. the deal with the homebrewer was we'd brew it once and that makes me a sad panda. maybe I'll chat the dude up and see what deal we can work out, I'd love that ****** to be summah cans.
