You and your questions about the beer inside the bottle...what is this 2012 or something??? Bottle count babeeee!!!

Everything is just the worst, but it's way more fun when it's about beer I don't care about. I just hope I don't have to fight off a bunch of brosefs on 12/20 for the Penrose wild ale release. I don't know anything about those beers, but I'd at least like to get them without a hassle since I live 8 miles away.

I think those are old, even though I know the Bris-Bons and Pissenlit is good/non-smokey. I was talking to the guy at La Primera the other day and he said he was expecting the new shipment of Shelton any day now. If Saison pops up, **** is gonna get cleaned out quick.

Does evey place around Chicago get Shelton distro's around the same time? Like one massive shipment for the whole city?

And does anyone know anything more about MSV distribution, the people who handle Shelton? They don't seem to have a lot of info around and the only seem to have 3 accounts; Shelton, storm and anchor and Jester king. Could we start seeing more jester king around the city?

edit: i was answering more about the 'scene' as opposed to chicago specific. i would imagine it was similar around the country since i was trading at the time and vanilla batch 1 was a very in demand beer on the trading scene.

The BA Yodo was my favorite beer at Great Taste this year. It was pretty amazing.

As to their other stuff, I think 5 Rabbit (The beer) is one of the best things they do. It's completely different from when it first came out. Super Pils is kinda cool too. And 5 Lizard is a great warm weather beer.
