Ok. So I posted another thread about my expired Coopers and went back to the store to get different yeast. I was in a rush (someone I was with was late for work and I had to hurry!) and I ended up with Fermentis WB-06, which, when I arrive home says for wheat brewing. The brew store is a good 25 minutes away and with gas so costly, I didn't consider going back and I used the yeast in my brew this afternoon.
Is my beer going to taste funny? I used 6 lbs light malt extract with a blend of 1.5 lbs caramel and roasted grains (whatever they are, the guy at the store helped me pick out ingredients).
I'm not really picky at this point, I just want a drinkable brew. But when I hear "bananas and cloves" I think cloyingly sweet fake banana flavor with ground cloves sprinkled on them
