I know that I've read about this before (can't seem to find it though), but has anyone had success brewing the same day that you bottle, and just reusing the trub for your next batch?
Oh, yes, lots of people have done it, including me.
However, I've only done it when using the yeast from a smaller batch of a lower OG beer to a larger batch of a higher OG beer.
Generally, you can have better results with just scooping out a portion of the yeast cake and using that for your new beer, and saving the rest in a sanitized jar in the fridge for next time.
