I’m thinking if people are saying mystery box it means they haven’t had time to go shopping. Understood there are plenty of valid reasons. So if someone accepts a mystery box, could the sender at least take their preferences into account? Even if its as simple as saying someone doesn’t like Belgians or something like that. lol I think folks have done that sort of thing before. But maybe one of the long timers will chime in. This is only my 3rd round and I've not selected a myster box yet. But I have seen photos of some of them after receipt!

I think I got one of the first mystery boxes in the group and have taken another one since. Both boxes were phenomenal. First one was a 16 BCBS Rare with a matching tulip glass.

I agree here and while i cellar raided a box to appease the masses, my mystery boxes are bespoke and I think most probably exceed expectations. Post COVID I would expect fewer mystery boxes.

Ha! I generally buy sours as I don’t brew them. I generally drink my own lagers and ales (but I spy some good ones above).

But I’m glad we can all agree that NEIPAs suck. About time.
