I bought a beer recipe kit and was given Safale Dry Yeast and 4 cans of fast pitch canned wort

I have never used the canned wort before. Is it ok just to pitch the dry yeast and not use the canned wort?

Thanks!

Maybe post a link to the kit? Depending on the recipe, just direct pitching the dry yeast could be just fine. If it's a high gravity recipe, then pitching more yeast might be good. And making a starter would obviously let you pitch more yeast.

The fast pitch canned wort is an instant yeast starter, which normally would be used with liquid yeast. No need to boil or use DME.
As @mac_1103 stated, direct pitching the dry yeast may be all that you need to do, depending on what kit you have.

Fermentis says that one pack of US-05 is fine for that wort. Some people will disagree of course, but I would just pitch the dry yeast for this batch and save the Fast Pitch for the next time you use a liquid yeast.

The link you posted shows the canned wort as an option. Probably not necessary for dry yeast for this kit.
You also got the 4 pack rather than the single, so you'll have plenty for future batches if you use liquid yeast or make some really high gravity beers.
