Do I need some type of o-ring for this flare swivel nut?

Hi HBT!
I recently purchased a flare swivel nut to screw onto the connector side of my keg so I can connect a hose to the gas side. My question is this: do I need an o-ring to ensure a seal? I can't seem to attach a picture of it to this post so the link is here:

It's supposed to go on a threaded ball lock disconnect

Nope. As long as the tapered seat on the quick disconnect is plastic, it will seal.

...and if you have a metal ball lock disconnect, you want to use one of these:

Correct! You do not need a flare washer between those two.

Phew! I don't have a HBS locally so this would set me back a week.. I have two kegs worth of beer that need to go in my kegerator and I just bought a second tap, so this would have really come at a bad time. Thanks a lot for the feedback!

Yeah, you're good. Metal on metal needs a nylon washer. Metal on plastic is good.
