I didn’t realize my wyeast was a smack pack until I opened it and poured it into my mash. I quickly fished the nutrient bag out, still in tact. Guess I’ll give it a couple of days to see what happens. I’m guessing/hoping the mash will be nutrient enough. Anyone ever do this before?

Yes wort.
Did you pour nutrient pack in? I figure I’m not going to bother now.

It'll be fine. The smack pack supplies yeast nutrients, which enhance what is already in the wort. It ensures there is what the yeast need.

I've made starters with White Labs yeast and not added yeast nutrient to the starter (though I usually do). I don't add it to the wort when I pitch, which is analogous to your pitching w/o the smack pack.
