Since this is a 240v element I believe you've got a post for neutral and live wires.
You'd connect one each to a screw.
The ground just needs to touch the kettle or something conducting on the kettle.

If you follow your link back to the product page - page down to the comments. Apparently this has been redesigned to include a grounding screw.

What I didn't see is if it is an ULWD (Ultra Low Watt Density)element. Others have experienced problems with scorching and the occasional bag burn using standard LWD water heater elements.

Cheers!

Hi I just ordered this.

https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B01NBNQU82/?tag=skimlinks_replacement-20

It only has 2 wire connection on the element for the 2 hot lines. No grounding screw or way to connect ground to it. Then the plastic housing screws over the wire and connections.

Should this not be grounded?

The picture on the Amazon link shows a grounding screw on the element base, and carefully labels it as well.

It is ULWD - It's a standard length ripple element, same watt density as the 5500W ULWD ones others sell.

dyqik... yep the other pictures do confirm a grounding screw. Don't see it labeled as ULWD but notice in a comparable item - same manufacturer and looks like the same element minus the tri-clamp fitting labeled as ULWD. I guess you could assume, and as you point out the length matches specs on other ULWD elements. Looks like tdibratt is good to go!

Cheers!

It's been mentioned, but here's the pic of the grounding screw from the Amazon listing.

Where do you see that comment. I definitely do not have a ground screw. Just the 2 hots.

Thx
