Liquidflame sent me this with an emaw. thought i post a review for him.
240 cream ale liqflame.jpg
Here it goes.
Poured a nice straw color with minimal head that lingered slightly... very delicate lacing that lasted through the glass. Low in bitterness with a sweet creaminess that caresses the palate. The low carbonation level really adds to the mouth feel of this beer and the balance is probably the best of all the cream ales I have tried.
Overall: I like this beer, the best compliment i can give liquidflame is... Pm me the recipe please. I would like to brew this as a house staple.:rockin:

Thanks I appreciate it. It actually took silver in a comp. The recipe is actually the cream ale in Brewing Classic Styles. If you don't have the book, let me know and I'll PM you the recipe. Also you can check-in my beer on Untappd if your on it.

Sorry, sorry. Work gets in the way sometimes... :)

I'm new to this, so let me know if I've violated a rule somewhere. Here's my list.

Hill Farmstead – this is what I really want. Saisons/(D)IPA preferred, but ill take anything
Alchemist (any)
Russian River (any)
Side Project (any)
Lawsons (any)
Surly (any)
Maine (any)

Tired Hands (any)

Sort of in order, but not necessarily. My Favorites are saisons and hop bombs, but I also like sours, stouts, Belgians. Willing to consider anything I’ve forgotten that I can’t get in OH. Will add more if necessary. Thanks!

Granted! :D

That said I am not a big fan of amber, red or wheat beers. (Although there are exceptions)

Also, if you know of something that I should be drinking; send me a PM so I can take a look and see what I think about it.

Wicked Weed (sours or wilds)
Cascade (sours or wilds)

Looks like one more post amd just being here for 90+ days (on mobile, can't see your join date).

Maybe @Hulud can let you know if he is cool with that.

PM'd. Waiting on the reply. Wouldn't be able to get the package out with New Glarus before Dec 1st.

I live in Iowa and would appreciate any beer I can't get here. My personal preference is for strong beers (barley wines, imperial stouts, porters, ipa/double ipa/black ipa). I also enjoy a good sour. I don't drink many Belgian style beers, but if you have an excellence local beer i'd be excited to try it no matter the style.

Some breweries :

Russian River
The Alchemist (I hear Heady topper is a decent beer)
Three Floyds -Permanent Funeral or any.
Avery

If you like strong beers and have a good selection I'm certain I'll enjoy what you choose. It doesn't need to be from any of the breweries listed, I just tried to choose some popular one.

Thanks in advance!
