Can I use standard copper fittings on my CO2 lines?? The chrome fittings that came with my system leak like a sieve.

I'm sure someone will correct me and/or elaborate more but...
I believe carbon dioxide effects the corrosion rate or oxidation of copper. Can't remember which one(if there's even a difference). Something to do with the co2 and moisture. It's been a while since I had to open a book on it.
And yes... you can taste it.

Use brass fittings.

Thanks for the input. I had some copper fittings but I'll have to get some brass replacements.
