Black Hog Disco Pig 3 collab with Oxbow Brewing is getting released this Saturday, May 2nd at the the brewery.

Disco Pig 3 is a collaboration between Black Hog and Oxbow Brewing Co. from Maine and it is a bottle conditioned Flanders Red. The guys from Oxbow are making the trip down and will be there for the noon opening to hang out, drink some beer, and meet some people!

There will be 750 bottles for sale at a limit of two per person.

I'll be there after work at around 4pm and hope to see some TB'ers! I'm wearing my TB shirt to work today but I'll probably wear my other one (**** yeah I got two) on Saturday so I'll be easily recognizable.

To all the New Haven area folks, I just tapped five Beer'd beers at Caseus, which I'm stoked about! Starting for lunch at 11:30, I have Whisker'd Wit, 8 Days a Week, RIFF, Hobbit Juice, and Roulette on tap. I'm pretty sure we're the first bar in New Haven to have Beer'd on tap and we're really stoked to hopefully continue to that.

I'll be here all day and for dinner tomorrow so if you are able to come in, make sure to say hi! As I said in my other post, I'm wearing my TB shirt today so I'll stick out if you haven't met me before.

Saw some Broad Brook cans on the shelf for the first time this past week. Taking a quick look at some reviews, they seem to be in the mediocre category. Any opinions if it was worth picking up their pale ale, IPA, porter ?

And if anyone popped open the Black Hog / Oxbow collab, would love to hear an opinion of that.
