I have long believed that citrus juice didn't do well in beer (orange/Lemon/Grapefruit/Lime/etc). Whenever I have wanted some of their characteristics, I have used the zest.

Today I saw the M-80 beer from MoreBeer, which adds 3 oranges to the beer:

"After 2 days of fermentation, we recommend that you zest and cut (3) medium sized Valencia oranges into ½” chunks and slightly mash them. Dunk the chunks in sanitizer and allow them to sanitize. Next, add the slightly mashed orange chunks to your fermenter."

Anyone added citrus juice to their beers ...... and what was the result?

I've done the blood orange hefe from Extreme Brewing for an extract-only club competition. I usually only use zest in my beers, but this recipe called for juice/chunks kind of similar to yours. It turned out well and if I remember correctly, took 2nd place in the comp.
