just got back from the grocery, and as i was putting stuff away, i noticed that i still had sugar left. i could have sworn that i used the last of it when i was bottling this past sunday. but, the girlfriend surprised me by showing up at my place and, well, let's just say that i was sidetracked from bottling preparations for a while:rolleyes: it's entirely possible that i didn't add any sugar to the boiling water.

do i play it safe, and let it ride a few weeks and see what happens?
or
do i gamble, and re-prime? it was only a 2.5 gallon test batch, so about a case of brew. if i go this route, that case will be placed inside a garbage bag or two.

which would you choose? i haven't been to the casino in a while...

Wait 2 weeks. Open one. If it's carbing, you added sugar. If not, open them up individually, add sugar, re-cap.

+1
In the mean time order or pick up some carb drops to make the process easier and less error prone.

yeah, i know how to fix it if i did in fact forget the sugar. i was really just seeing if there were any gamblers brewing ;) a fairly conservative bunch. at least during the day.

open up a bottle now and taste - if its a little sweet then you did add sugar (alternatively if you measured the FG before you "added" the sugar it would be higher now)
