i have lots of equipment but never brewed beer lol lol-- i dont even drink it but i love to make consumables at home--all types-- i will not buy one of those little brew kits but even 5 gallons is too much for one batch--i know how to mash and have the necessary pots and straining equipment-- fermenting experience is from wine making.

can one brew very small batches????--ill be giving it away any how but thats what i do with my wine and other alcoholic beverage

Welcome from Gainesville. Yes, you can brew small batches. People do 1 gallon batches. That's a lot of effort for a 6 pack or so of beer, IMO.

is it just proportions and where do i get a formula please:)

get yourself a copy of some brewing software. I'm a big advocate for BeerSmith. Other people use ProMash. There's also some free online resources. I think TastyBrew.com has one.
