I have 10 gallon of stout that's been in primary for 2 weeks. I'm going to add vanilla to 5 gallon and thought chocolate for the other 5 would be good. How would I do this?

Powdered bakers cocoa works the best. Make sure it's pure cocoa on the ingredients list. I usually add 10-12oz of Ghiardeli bakers chocolate to get a good chocolate flavor. Transfer the beer to secondary and mix the chocolate in then.

Should I boil it with some water first or just mix it in dry? Or maybe with vodka?

Well, even if you just sprinkle it on top, it will eventually fall through the beer and settle at the bottom. No real need to stir if you're worried about it.
