I just recieved my first order and i couldn't be more pleased. Two big recipes, 1.090 OG recipes, shipped to my door for $40. The two recipes are packaged individually in sealed plastic bags that appear to be airtight. I can brew one now and I am confident that, due to the great packaging, I can wait a week and brew the other!
If you haven't tried BMW out yet you certainly should...they beat my LHBS shop by at least 35% on prices and that includes shipping.
I have to say that I am also quite impressed with the selection of grains and brew builder software is awesome!!
Ordered 4lbs of PBW. Got 8lbs. Not sure why, but very happy. Thanks Ed. You are my new favorite home brew store.
I should be committed, either one.![]()
You got our top secret upgrade to a product that is in stock to avoid delays. We do it every so often when I feel that it is more important to ship an order than wait to get something in. Just part of our commitment to our customers, or the fact that I should be committed, either one.
Ed
Ed you got any digital thermometers? I ordered the large dial one you have and it works good but a large read out digital therm would be great
Ed,
I added a Mile Ale recipe in the Brewbuilder a couple of months ago. The main ingredient is Mild Malt. Was planning on using the Mild malt for a Stout recipe that I am brewing in a few weeks and I cannot find it listed anymore. Was wondering if you still carry it?
Dave
I'll probably be placing my first order from Brewasters Warehouse today or tomorrow. Just wondering if I have to order an entire recipe from brewbuilder in order to get the discount, or can I just order the grains and yeast? (I already have the hops) I'll be placing the order either way, just curious.
Thanks
I didn't manage to brew this weekend like I'd planned, but the crush looks great; I'm hoping for an extra point or two.
Do you ship fractional pounds or just full pounds?

They have their crush dialed in, I recently brewed a 1.100 OG belgian ale, that was only supposed to be a 1.090 belgian...I gained some efficiency with the grains purchased and crushed @ BMW.
You're not kidding. I just managed 5 more points than I'd planned on a 5.5lb (partial mash) grain bill. Yee-haw.
I can't stop singing Ed's praises. I live in Orlando and we have a less than friendly establishment in town. In any case, I am sometimes obligated to buy from them. However, I hope I never have to do that again because I plan on ordering from you guys from here on out!
Keep on keeping on!
I don't understand how Hearts Homebrew is still in business. I don't think I've ever heard a single positive thing about them.
