this brew rig started out with a modest vision , and was inspired by the technology documented at Kal's site.
I started with Kegs, and kept them , mostly because of durability and affordability.
HLT is powered by 230VAC, and PID controlled.
BK is powered by 230VAC, and manually controlled.
RIMS tube is powered by 115VAC, and PID controlled.

I built the Rims tube out of copper pipe & fittings.
Pumps are all powered from 12VDC and attach directly to the vessels with CamLocks.
I use either a Sharon plate chiller, or a Copper CF wort chiller, and ferment in one of the two fermenters, temp controlled inside a custom made fermentation chamber,
Boiling Equipment: 1/2 bbl Keggle, 5400 Watt Electric
Beer Bottling Gear: Very little bottling, 8 Sanke 1/6 bbl kegs
Fermentation Vessels and Equipment: One Blichmann 14.6 gal ferminatorrnOne Domowybrowarek 80 Liter Poly conical
Wort Chillers: Copper counterflow wort chiller, or Shirron Plate chiller
Plumbing, Pumps and Hardware: 3 of the US Solar 12V DC pumps (on for each vessel)
Yeast Equipment: generic stir plate for starters
Cleansers and Sanitizers: PBW and Star San
