Apologies if this has been asked earlier. I have an interesting problem. After finishing primary fermentation, I cold crashed the brew for 2 days before bottling. On bottling day realized I miscalculated and did not have enough bottles. Good thing I did not add priming sugar yet. So I decided to bottle half the batch. Now I have to go out of town for another week and can't finish bottling till I come back. Is it ok if I leave the thing in the fridge for a week? Or will I have to repurchase yeast before bottling a week from now?

I'm confused, does the brew in the fridge have priming sugar in it? If so, it may start fermentation again (depending on your fridge temp) so you may have to add more priming sugar, other than that it should be fine. Is it a lager or ale?

Or did you separate half the batch then prime? If so the other half will be fine to wait, there will still be enough yeast in suspension.

Whether it is a lager or an ale it will be fine for that amount of time. Meaning no you won't need more yeast and yes it will be fine in the fridge.
