Hey everyone.
I have a weird problem that i can’t figure out.

I have a keezer with 4 kegs on a distributed. My C02 tank appears to still have C02 in it, but one of the four kegs just won’t pressurize. It’s the one with carbonated water in it rather than beer. It’s carbonated but the keg doesn’t have enough pressure to force it out.

I sprayed soapy water around all the seals on the leg and lines and can’t find any leak. I checked the lines for kinks. nothing.

Any ideas? I don’t understand why could be causing just one keg to not get any C02.

Sounds more like a mechanical issue than a gas problem. Check the poppets in the posts of the keg. If the gas post is plugged up or damaged no CO2 will get in. If the liquid post is the problem no liquid can get out. Could also be a damaged/plugged dip tube.

Ahh yes good point. I haven’t checked for clogged poppets. I’ll report back once I do.

have you checked for head pressure inside the sparkling water keg? You can do a quick check by depressing the poppet on the gas of it.

If there is head pressure there, then I would first suspect the liquid QD's poppet that presses down on the post poppet on the keg. If one of the springs is significantly stronger than the other one, then one of them won't open. This can also happen if the pressure inside the keg is much higher (increased force on the poppet), and the spring inside the QD is weaker, but could have worked at lower pressures.

I did check, and there was little pressure left in the keg. I tried again and there wasn't any new pressure. When I get home from work it looks like I should look into the 02 input poppet.

EDIT: Yes, thank you guys. It was the c02 input poppet or the ball lock connector. I just took it off and cleaned it, dried it, and put it back on tightly and the C02 started flowing again.
