Beer line and tap cleaning

I have been having some flavor issues with my beer. Since i knew the beer was fermented at the right temp and didnt taste wrong during kegging. I decided to do a thorough beer line cleaning. Last night i put Star San in the lines and this morning when i drained it this is when came out.

Any idea what is it???

Right now my disassembled taps are sitting in BLC.

How old we're the lines? Could be beer stone, although I never think of it as that black. Maybe the acidic StarSan reacted with it darkening it.

Definitely nothing like any beer stone I've seen. Looks more like mold...

That's what I was thinking. Time to replace those lines.
