Hopwater os pretty Damn good. I've walked to Masonic afterwards too. Just a bit of a hill.I realize Cellarmaker as well as mikeller are not too far away, but anywhere with a good beer selection within a short walk from the Masonic?

What was the price on the Cantillon? Saw bottles elsewhere in the last few weeks for $23.Just went to øl in Walnut Creek and cuvée st gullies is sitting on the shelf. Everyone already grabbed all of the A&G. There are some OG BFM 1.5L’s on the shelf as well just hanging out. Nothing that exciting tho

I remember seeing Mamouche there maybe three years ago for $80 so this seems relatively reasonable.$50 (srs)
They had 6 bottles of Hommage, some Tilquin Gueze, and A&G, along with CSG when they opened. A friend told me.Just went to øl in Walnut Creek and cuvée st gullies is sitting on the shelf. Extremely goodDidn't realize there was a can release at cellarmaker today but I'll take it. Manhattan vastness is also really good.
Heading back East coast i guess. New guy is from TRB"Wade Out"
Wade leaving Temescal... anyone know what his plans are?
Not really, unfortunately.Heading back East coast i guess. New guy is from TRB
Temescal never got on my radar really. Any reason they should yet?
I mean, okay. I've yet to have anything from Novel that gets above "meh" and Temescal routinely has (or had, I guess) beers that easily clear that bar. I know it's easy to hate on the style but their kettle sours have been as good as anyone's, and when they try they can brew a good IPA. I have to say I'm all kinds of disappointed by them though, they've definitely underdelivered on their initial promise. I think if they stopped dicking around and actually brewed stuff people wanted to drink they could be as good as Fieldwork, but again that was with Wade there, who knows with the new guy? I guess it doesn't hurt them because in that location they clean up no matter what they do.I know stupac2 thinks I'm a Novel fanboy, but I rate Novel higher than Temescal at this point. If I'm going to go to a mediocre local brewery, it's gotta offer more than an adequate pilsner and like three decent hoppy beers. Novel at least has a interestingly broad selection, stylistically speaking. They've even done some barrel aged brews which I guess Temescal is hinting they will be doing, but haven't done yet.
