Are there any good indoor full-volume boil options? Preferably, one that could boil 6 gallons so if it's especially hot or cold outside, I can avoid propane (not just because I'm afraid of heat or the cold, but because it's tougher to predict what's going to happen during a mash in temperature extremes... and I live in a third floor apartment so it's probably inadvisable for me to be using propane in the first place).
Are there any known electric ranges, fryers, etc. out there that can do the job?
Also, I'm looking for something that's not going to electrocute me, caramelize my wort, or force me to become an electrical engineer to create.
I did some research and was very excited, for a short time, about turkey fryers. Unfortunately, I can't find any electric turkey fryers that seem capable of boiling ~6 gallons of wort at one time. The largest I could find was 28 quarts (outdoor ones go up to 40+ quarts, but that defeats the purpose).
Thanks for any help you can give!
