I also +10^6 that this is the most civil and fun board I've ever been on. Even in person most homebrewers can't wait to share information and help a fellow out. You do get a few that think they are the best brewer to walk the earth, you'll also find, most of the time they can't brew a correct pale ale..

I recommended he line his helmet with tin foil. A week later he came back and said thank you, it worked! True story.
