Adding Dextrose after fermentation started?

Hi,
I was brewing last night and I accidentally added 0.5oz of dextrose instead of 0.5 lbs!!! Can I still add some if I boil some water and dextrose? I do not see any issues with this, especially that there is not any krausen forming yet.
Thoughts?
