Adding corn sugar to boost efficiency

Before I read up on the site here I added 2 cups of corn sugar to my fermenter to adjust for a bad O.G. Does it really matter that I didn't boil it in water first to have it better dissolve?
 
It's best to boil a solution of sugar, then cooling before adding to the fermenter. Not doing so increases the odds of infection, but infection is far from a certainty.

What's done is done. See how it goes. Certainly don't throw it out. I'll bet your fine.
