I'm making an American Ipa and I have 10lb of malts for the mash.

I have a ton of Dextrose sitting around and wanted to add two pounds to the boil to boost the ABV.

My question is. is this too much? Will it effect the flavor at this point?

I make IPA's all the time. I am just getting into figuring out how to make hard cider and noticed your post. 10lbs of malt is going to make a weak IPA... like 4 to 5% ABV ( ;

You have a TON of Dextrose?! WTH? Did you switch over to kegging and give up bottling?

Add two pounds, it won't be too much cuz your ABV will be boosted ( ;
