Pretty sure this is new..at least to you young one..

More of a TNG man myself, but TOS is good.

Night @Hunter_la5 sleep tight;)

Not sure what this means, so now I definitely will not.

Just about everyone here has at least one vote - except you @1977, no one wants you to get more beer.

Yeah! **** that guy!

So what happens if there's a tie? Is there some kind of run-off election procedure? Or do you just get to arbitrarily choose a winner, like we all know you were going to do anyway? :p

Alright Friendly Friends, I've had a pretty good response to the voting so far. I'll probably close it up at the end of this week. Here is a list of who has voted. If I missed your vote, please let me know.

What are we voting on? I have been busy since thursday!

There is currently a tie, so I'm thinking of a dance-off.

Who I should send beer to.

What with the braiding hair and the VS models and the sex changes and the gay orgies, I'm sure someone would be willing to come over and give you a lap dance...

A bunch of married, bearded strangers grinding all up in my business. Who could resist? I can't braid hair though, so if that's a deal breaker...

Whelp I have moves like 'ol JT so should I pm you my address nowView attachment 347755.

Damn. I'm going to do another one of these and I'm definitely going with a dance off.

Sounds rigged. You know we can't dance!

Hahaha. I used to know how to braid too

Stack of dishes done, DIPA drank and another poured. Switching up some laundry, finishing my beer, then going to bed.

Worst score I've given while judging was an indrinkable rotten parmesan vomit bomb. Nasty. People thinking judging is fun and games and free beer, until you have to consume enough of a beer like that to write a scoresheet. I almost threw up. Spider beer was worse, but I didn't have to fill out a sheet on that one.

What was the score you gave vomit beer? I'd love to have read that scoresheet.

I agree. Would love to see that. Is it against competition rules to snap a photo of the score sheet before you hand it in? You know, for next time.

a parmesan-vomit bomb (not quite as bad though), thinking it was interesting funk. No dude, that's enteric bacteria. It shouldn't be like that.

Yeah man, I mean, I'm no sour beer expert, but if you guys are tasting Parmesan or vomit, you're getting awful sours. No matter what style it is. Some might have a little funk, but I would assume most of you would like it, as a lot of you seem to like Brett.

Q-man, I gotta say, you were on fire last night. I laughed out loud at a few of your posts.

Blizzy, you said everyone except Mr. Brewer had gotten votes. Even me? Damn, and I didn't even break the rules and vote for myself!

Bout to start packing for the trip. I think I'm definitely going to have to try the Crisp and the Smooth pours while I'm there, although, for the most part, I'll be focusing on craft stuff. My plan is to eat pretty healthy, though, when we eat out (which will be about every meal). Just weighed in today at 86.8kg! My goal for the start of the season (in 2 1/2 weeks) was 87. Then during the season I'd like to healthily be dropping about 1kg per month - with an end goal of 84. So I don't really need a setback this weekend. I'll be consuming tons of beer, so I figure the food needs to be offsetting that a bit!

And Breezybrew sent me a case of Terrapin eepahs. This is probably my favorite of the 4. Hopsecutioner is pretty good too. I dunno. Free beers.

Cheers buddy!

Yep mine and a brewery called Rapp in St. Petersburg, Fl

Oh yeah. Liechtensteiner was great too. Never had one of those before.

Damn. I'm going to do another one of these and I'm definitely going with a dance off.

Just so y'all know what you're up against, I've spent the last three years studying under The Master herself. Y'all don't even stand a chance, and would do just as well to not even enter this one.

Just a friendly warning.

I will LITERALLY prance circles around you all.

Off topic: View attachment 347631time to build a screen around the garden. Damn birds are starting to eyeball me tomatoes.

They are A-holes! Been 3 years since I grew tomatoes. Last time I did, those fuc$&rs would sit and watch them get nice and plump while green, and then the ever so slightest hint of yellow, orange or red on any of them, and there'd be a hole right through that spot the next day. Royally pissed me off.

ok, a lil bit better now. 838 in the morning, already drinking. So bring it on :fro:

QOTD:
What would be one beer style you wish you drank more?
For me, probably porter. I really enjoy a good porter with adjuncts like coconut or peanut butter, but I really can't say I go out of my way to find a sample of the style that stands above all others if there are no adjuncts involved.

Answer to QOTD: ESBs and English Brown Ales. There's very limited selection where I am though, notwithstanding ones that are available and actually good.

Coffee is brewing in the french press.

Stout. Super dry. Coffee. Dark chocolate. Looking forward to seeing how mine turns out.

Morning..etc..

Have you tried Founders Breakfast Stout yet? A tad bit in the high range for what you might be used to, but it doesn't drink like it. Very smooth, lots of chocolate and coffee notes, not overly sweet at all.

I bought some around Halloween, I think. It wasn't too bad.
