Morning. I slept in and then went for a run. Jeebus it's hot here. Bank sign said it was 92F. That means the drinking all day is happening in the A/C.

Rehydrating with this.

@Psylocide this rivals Busch as a post-workout beer. The only thing it's missing is about 4 ounces.

Oof. I don't sour well.

Lol @ the missing oz though.

Where are you at again?

I know... I've been thinking about it a little bit ever since I took that temp reading. Did you send me one of those? I think you did. Crap.

I think my wife would really like a kolsch... I'm always brewing a cream ale here and there so she has some on hand (haven't had to the past 8 months, lol). Might be time to try it out.

I sent you one in our first swap. Just the one though. Easily forgotten

I can't see this avatar and not laugh a little to myself. Every damn time. My coworkers must think I'm losing my mind.

No beer last night, popped some aspirin and s Benadryl went to bed early, slept in. Finally feel normal again. Coffee, about to take the dog for a run. It's gonna be a good day.

You're welcome

Thank you! It's nice having them cheer me on.

Just picked up some KBS. Never again. Decent beer...not $22 for 4 decent...

I'll take it off your hands. It's usually single bottles here (limit 2) and at least $6 each. Quite frustrating to not be able to get an actual 4 pack. I think I got 6 bottles last year between numerous stores.

I could have walked out of there with 2 cases. But for that price, I can find something nearly as good for half the price.

Anyone seen @TheCADJockey ?

I'm thinking he has his face buried in a .docx right now.

What are your normal basement temps? I do a kolsch every late winter/early spring when my floor temps are a stable 55-60 degrees and it works out great. I throw it on a heating pad for a few days at the end of fermentation for diacetyl rest, then just put the carboys on the floor and they stay nice and cool for a month or so.

Ambient is ~68°... floor is closer to 63ish°, I would imagine.

Worked ok for glass directly on the tile floor, but the buckets, not so much. Just doesn't conduct temp that well.

Stupid washing machine is on the brink, thing is almost 10 years old. I guess I know where the 800 bucks that I made Sunday is going.

I remember having the same washer and dryer set throughout my childhood, goes to show that tings are not made like they use to be.
