Haha...we will be at the dinner table and my 12 year old daughter will ask me to get her a fork (or something). She is half as far from the silverware drawer as I am. I often times get up, start walking over to the drawer and then catch myself and say, "hell no, I won't...get it yourself".

My grandma had a famous saying..." What are your legs broken?"

I will never understand this most recent generation of "adults." How are you going to sit there at work, in your 20's or 30's, and bitch for 30 minutes that you are hungry because you didn't have breakfast because you didn't have time and can't go because you don't have a car. Are you kidding? You can't do one thing that even the simplest life forms can accomplish on their own? Here's a thought, wake up earlier than 5 minutes before you have to leave for work, stop relying on your mom to drive you to work and grow the flocc up. What would you do if something happened to your parents? Sit there weeping and soiling yourself until someone tossed a cheeseburger to you?

One of the many duties I have to teach rookies besides how to stay alive is *how to wash dishes. *how to cook. *how to sweep and mop. *how to start a lawn mower and how to use a weed eater. It's not like Houston is a concrete jungle either.

Waiting room coffee while I get the wife's tires balanced and rotated.

Its also the wort chiller too except the beer runs through the inside and recircs to the bk. Pretty awesome system, hlt burner is automatic.

Yeah it's a cool looking setup.

This is why I want a single tier eHERMS.

More pumps, tubing, wires, floating sparge-arm, mash profile nonsense etc. Geek heaven.

I'm just surprised they don't have a SS HERMS coil.

BTW: Super jealous of your day Giant-Hands.:mug:

Every house I've ever owned seems to get small on me no matter what. For what it's worth I like Try levels I don't like basements I want every sq ft usable and livable. That being said I could live with a basement to brew in. I'm so happy outdoors so I don't know why I ever brewed inside

When did Bucknuts visit?

Couple months back apparently.

Fins has the hands of a giant. Learn something new every day.

Btw BABS is just ridiculous. Think I passed out before I could say that last night.

You mentioned it haha then psy mentioned that you could brew it.

Fins, you had to take a decent paycut for that job, right? Any ragrets? Or you have a sugamomma right?

Yep, took a paycut but it was worth it. Some days suck but most are fairly fun. Today has been the high point so far.

Whatch drinking?

Lacto sour base for a raspberry beer. Pretty good stuff.

My.... what big hands you have.

You know what they say...

Mmm. Tell us more. If you hear any splashing that's just my drool....

Not much else to say haha its a fly sparge, somewhat herms system.

I'm happy for you. Seems like you got a job that you really enjoy and are doing well at. Way to go.

Is that a small system you guys use to test recipes?

Yep, all the test batches happen on that system. Typically brew anywhere from 5-15 gallon batches on it

Finished basements are a thing yannow...at least in some areas.

Basement is easily the highlight of my house.

****!!!! Debating making a quick getaway. My partner was giggling in his office and told me to come in. I asked what was so funny and he said "shhh...listen". From the office next door, I could distinctly hear the voice of a client of mine who is the bane of my existence. Meetings that could take 5 minutes taking hours, discussions about matters I cannot help him with that we have discussed 20 times in the past, etc. etc. I am now fearful that he is going to come into our offices when he's done next door. May have to get out of Dodge before that can happen.

Just go sit on the toilet and smartphone friendly friend post in a friendly manner for 30 friendly minutes with the not-so-friendly client leaves and you can return to your friendly office.
