Had 2 Melvin Hubert's, a Clinic ISA and a Melvin MPA. The Hubert was awesome, Clinic was great for an ISA. And can't get a good read on the Melvin since I was pretty buzzed already. But this group is putting out some spectacular beers. Keep your eye out!

Hop-stand is over, cooling the wort now, will strain out the hops after a bit.

This night seems to not want to end...

3:15am, and I am putting the beer to bed. I knocked off 30 minutes from my last time.

Meh.

Forgot I messed with my recipe, thought I was going for a DIPA but between a quart more water & 2-row v/s Golden Promise, I was not quite in DIPA range. I'll go through Brewer's Friend again and get some corrected anticipated numbers for this.

Still, gonna be a nice IPA...

:)

Now, time to watch some Three Sheets on Hulu and pass out. Maybe.

No, I wish! I started cooking food right before I mashed. I have 25 minutes or so still on the mash, then the draining, sparging, boiling, hop-stand, & cooling of the wort. I won't be done for a while...

Oh man, I thought you were done. Why did you start so late?

Water. Woke up with a cramp in my back. That was fun.

I need to brew a gallon batch to do a review of a free kit I received. Maybe I can hammer that out on a weeknight on my ****ty stove. Hoping so.

@Hello ...

I am a night-owl. This was probably the 2nd earliest start I've ever done, but AG definitely takes more time than extract.

Sorry to hear your back is still bothering you. I know that pain, so I really do feel for you.

Anytime you might need some help, let me know. A 1-gallon kit sounds interesting!

Coffee. Well after drinking Miller lite all night and eating BBQ I feel pretty good this morning. Y'all try and not hit 20K today while I'm at work

Morning. Should be brewing today. Talked to a guy I brew with regularly about it earlier in the week, said he'd get back to me, then nothing. Assumed plan was canceled. Then he texts last night at 10 pm asking what time we're brewing. No ingredients on hand, already made plans with the wife. Frustrating.

Maybe I'll end up bottling a batch anyway...

I need more fermentors. As I was tasting my sours last night I realized my 8 carboys are all sour beers and 1 Vienna lager

Morning. French Press. I really threw down those three Miller Lites.

I've lost my ability to pound brews. What the hell.

Need coffee. Just up. Hot water heater went out yesterday...couldn't get pilot to light again. Plumber today...waiting for call back. Fix, new tank, or tankless? Going to get the options. Need a new dishwasher, too. Oh, and money. Oh well, who needs brew equipment or a cruise anyway?

But...you can't use a tankless as your HLT. :D

Full contact poker?

Feeling exceptionally lazy today, going to be a beautiful day, need to shake this ****.

I'm feeling extremely lazy today, as well. Just stuffed my face with coffee and a spinach and Bulgarian feta omelette. Now I want to hibernate on the couch for a bit, but likely I'll be busy all day.

Morning..... Sorry to hear. If you could fix it and its not that old fix it. That is unless somebody is going to charge you what it cost to buy a new one to fix it , It needs replacement of the bar for the rust to cling to every now and then as well. We need a hot water heater is well and the research I saw was stick with a tank. Btw I'm not convinced I like our $1,000 KitchenAid dishwasher any better than the old piece of s***.

If I start Bruin now I'll be done at 10 a.m. I would rather no chill and Golf. It's been nice here the last few days it was a tough winter. It's the longest I've gone without hitting golf balls in 10 years
