@beermeduffman - whats the QOTD or are you shirking your responsibilities again?

Forever shirking...its the American way. Money for nothing and my chips for free.

I've been throwing **** on the walls all morning and hope it doesn't stick.

So QOTD: Which hop variety /yeast combo in personal opinion, gives the most tropical or juicy combo?

Can't really comment on the yeast much, as I almost use Notty exclusively.

Of course, Citra/Mosaic is your tropical bomb... maybe some nelson/galaxy as well.

The key to getting that juicy hop flavor is keeping the IBUs on the lower side... think 55 or so for a 1.070 OG and massive late/whirlpool additions and massive dry hopping.

Just a touch of honey malt for a bit of sweetness (not much, mind you) would probably go a way towards increasing the 'juicy' factor.

Oh good, another QOTD I have no business commenting on. I used Nelson Sauvin when I tried to get some tropical addition, purely based off description. The bag smelled awesome when I opened it. Apparently 1 oz Nelson stood no chance against 1 lb of fresh Nugget though, so my opinion is void. Yay.

That gif was highly inaccurate...he would of missed that door.

Just wondering if any friendly friends are enjoying S2 of Better call Saul. I know there is a thread on it so don't want to pollute the thread with non-cat/beer/countertops/food/science/fin's mom/IT crowd references.

Just yay/nay/WTF is Better call Saul

Ambivalent so far, I guess. I hope that IT guy gets killed off or something. He bugs me.

I liked some of the call-backs (call-forwards?) like the d-bag investor in the bar and the Zafir añejo tequila.

Three Sheets when getting drunk with friends. You'll thank me later.

If I know what he is talking about its a drinking show by Zane Lamprey. The same guy that did drinking made easy. He gets drunker as the episode goes along and travels the world on unique drinks. Cool show. Both of them are worth watching
