Good afternoon friendly people. Time to roast some coffee. I am happy for now.

Oh. Hey. I made you this...

If I know what he is talking about its a drinking show by Zane Lamprey. The same guy that did drinking made easy. He gets drunker as the episode goes along and travels the worked on unique drinks. Cool show. Both of them are worth watching

Yup. I don't care for Drinking Made Easy though. Just not near as funny. I think it's the sound effects in Three Sheets that makes it so great. I havent checked out the new one, Chug.

Three Sheets is avail for free on Hulu I think, check it out. The pilot - Brussels should have you hooked.

That thing is like 8 Courics.

But how many BKB's would it fetch on the black market?

Ambivalent so far, I guess. I hope that IT guy gets killed off or something. He bugs me.

I liked some of the call-backs (call-forwards?) like the d-bag investor in the bar and the Zafir añejo tequila.

I'm enjoying it so far. It's taking a while to get up to full speed, but it's getting there. And yea, also enjoying the forward references.

We met Logan the beer Hunter when we were in Colorado a few years back. Talked to him for a few minutes and got a pic with him and the Mrs. He was a pretty nice guy, to us at least.

Awesome. Whenever I want to annoy my wife I do that creepy smile of his and start talking about authentic styles.

I'm enjoying it. Need to look at those connections you mentioned, been a while since I watched BB. Anyway, just curious. Back to the regular no topic y'all.

So QOTD: Which hop variety /yeast combo in personal opinion, gives the most tropical or juicy combo?

Any non-clean fruity yeast will definitely help. Conan or WY1318 seem to be the go-tos, but some saison stuff like WY3711, WLP585. Omega Hothead are hugely fruit foward. But for the very most juice, you gotta go all-brett IME

Hops are anyone's game. Ive found newer stuff like Hallertau Blanc, Belma, Huell Melon, Pacific Gem, Motueka, Azzaca and a few others to be favorites for straight up juicy.

Citra, Mosaic, Galaxy, Nelson, etc are all good choices, but they all also have the dank/resiny edge to them as well which detracts from the juicy flavor if thats what you're really after.

:what: I don't know anyone else in Cheektavegas that likes to brew, drink, and hang out outside.

I know. It's ridiculous. I haven't even met my neighbor yet. He just kinda... looks at me weird when I'm banging pots and pans in my backyard, drinking and smoking. Well. I also shovel snow in swim trunks. So, there's that.

@finsfan
If you dont mind my asking, how much was the shipping on that? FedEx im guessing?

That La Folie clone I sent you is good to go. Could get better still though. I think its been bottled about 3 months.

And guess what? Melvin hits the taps in town this weekend. Only 3 weeks after the rest of the country got it! Those dicks.

Maybe they figured Wyoming is used to drinking IPAs with some age on them.

Also, holy hell man. I hope your back is ok.

You guys went hard last night. Well done. It's nice to PKU in here when work is the suck.

Yeah, it's about a buck a bottle for me, on average. Really a buck a lb. but same diff.

Yeah... there were some cans in there, and there were 17 all together, cans weigh a little less, but the packing mats need to be taken into account so I just guessed at 17 lbs. Probably closer to 18 though.

I've been paying about $15 for 10lb boxes. (one sixer) I guess for uber generous folks like @finsfan the per bottle cost comes down a bit. Nonetheless, what a beermail.

That's the thing though... we've ever only arranged for a sixer of HB. Even this was supposed to be a 'small trade,' not sure if fins' definition of small is different than mine, but yeah. I agree.
