Meh, I leave them on. Banner and side ads don't bother me in the slightest and it lets Tx live the dream and get rich off of us. If there were inline or interpost ads that'd be a site killer though.

Or in case that wasn't a jab - advertisements.

Yes, it was a jab. Of course, I do 75% of my HBTing on mobile so I wouldn't see them even if they were turned on.

Got a howler of Sprecher Citra Bomb on lunch... never had it, so we'll see.

Got the kid off to the grandparent's house for a few hours tonight and wife wants to 'clean.' Which means I'll be drinking beer in the kitchen, sweep and mop, then retire to the basement to 'straighten up.'

Yeah, that's what I'll tell her.

Why come no one comes to Sioux Falls for beercations??

We have at least 2 mediocre breweries and 1 good one to visit.

Wish I had a :taco: for lunch. Sadly, I have been running everywhere today in the snow and haven't had the chance to eat yet. I foresee many beers tonight after son's hockey practice.

Pfft.. You got to meet BK didn't ya? Nobody comes to Buffalo and I offered to chauffeur. Weak!

Yes, I did get to meet one shady character in a hotel parking lot... forgot about that.

You need to at least get some temp control and a real mill before you can call yourself 'good'

Pffft... my beer is awesome, except those 2, for which I fully claimed partial responsibility.

Was going to bite the bullet and try Lloyds for the first time over the weekend. They were closed. The :taco: will have to wait.

HB Pilsner on lunch break. It's actually a pretty good beer now that it's lagered a bit and the remaining yeast has dropped out, and I dropped the kegerator from high 40s to 30s. Definitely not a big fan of the classic american lager yeast though. It doesn't taste like a pilsner. Going to keg the helles this week and then rebrew a pilsner with the good deutsche yeast.

I don't think the Hyperloop has a scheduled stop at Russian River. Also won't be finished until never.

I had a rental car for that. Golden gate is a toll road so you have to pay for it. Depends renting or uber is the cheaper option. Probably rent for a day

The Hertz at SFO rents a Porsche 911 for $600/day. Might have to go that route.

Don't feel bad; only one person came out to visit Philly and I had to break open a 19% abv stout for it

Hey... I would, but.... Philly....

:D

I WILL make it back up there this calendar year for an extended weekend. Maybe by that time my ~16% Belgian Golden WTF might be done fermenting out.... almost 2 years later.
