I'm just finishing Trve's Red Chaos. This is probably one of their best beers so far. It's a metal brewery with a cat-like creature on the label, so I figured you all would enjoy.

I'm sure I sent you the sour version. Soured with JP dregs. It's actually at its best a few weeks after brewing. Cheers!

I have and I really liked it too. Their sour and Brett beers are really starting to come around. Both of those were solid.

Sometimes soda just sounds good... Haven't had a root beer in at least 4 years.

Sure does, no beer this week until Thursday. Have a blood draw for a physical and am trying to behave for a few days to have a good baseline.

The lack of caffeine will probably kill me before anything else.

Short pour of hb ipa done. Bed time, another crappy day at work to follow. At least the beer store has the special bcbs release thing tomorrow night. Looking forward to getting my first coffee variant, albeit a year or 2 later.

When I say beer to my doctor, she sees Bud Light. I see BCBS. Too complicated to explain why I like 14% versus 4.2% beers unlike 99.8% of the state. Some people don't get it.

Yeah, but when you say two, she thinks '2 bud lights is 2 beers' and you think '2 bcbs is 4-5 beers, but I only opened two bottles'. Everyone wins.

Just busted into my aging keg of bourbon oak Palpatine Imperial Porter.. You know, for progress reports, and to make sure it's not infected or anything...

It's 2.5 months old and MAN is the alcohol flavor strong. At 11% it's bound to be noticeable, but I expected it to mellow a little by now.

Ah well, I guess I'll allow myself another taster in 2 more months and see how the good emperor is doing.

Funny you guys say this, I just had a root beer at Victory the other day. Haven't had any soda in a couple years and Victory makes the best root beer. Also had their Storm King RIS on nitro which is awesome.
