@finsfan congrats again.

I am actually a bit bummed after last night. I made food for the Super Bowl and one person knew this, didn't show up until 15 minutes before game-time, and didn't eat a thing. He knew I was making lots of food for the game. Obviously ate somewhere else first.

Thanks, *******.
lol make friends with a fat girl/guy, we always eat. Trust me.
So, I'm hoping to get some kind of fermentation temperature control figured out in the next couple of weeks. The beer project that I've been wanting to do is a Fluffernutter Sammie Stout. Porter and stouts that I have tried before were good at a point and then overcarbed. Some had tangy/sour or metallic finishes. I've addressed everything except fermentation temperature...needs to be lower and consistent..., and yeast. I have used S-04 for these styles in the past and I think, from what I've been reading, it can give the type of flavors I'm experiencing, especially at higher fermentation temps. Thinking about going with WLP002. Anyone have experience with it...and particularly with a sweet stout?
I have a temp controller for you on the cheap. I like 1098 for my stouts. I need to get over there soon. I ****ing suck.
Hopslam is finally being released in my area tomorrow.

I won't miss it a bit.

*yawn*
Haha two cans at glass jug. **** that noise. I just want to try a can this year. Doubt I'll hit the jug up unless work goes better tomorrow. Or I'll hit up the doctor to get my foot xrayed. It's on fire.

Monopoly stout.

Guess which piece I am.

Thanks Chef! Got those peaches at the farmers market. They were delicious! Coffee smelled fantastic going into the fermenter btw. Cant wait for that one.

Edamame while wings cook. Took and tested samples before racking the new stout but checking og and drinking them now. Only took three of the four fermenters to fill the barrel 95% of the way so waiting until my 3 gallon carboy opens up so i can save that to refill barrel down the road and bottle the remaining two gallons. Score!

Bruh, just buy a cheap fridge/freezer off of CL, an Inkbird ITC controller and be done with it.
Yeah...got a brother in law that will GIVE me an old, small chest freezer that I think will hold 2 carboys. The problem is that SWMBO doesn't want to see it. Not in the carport, not in the house. And there's a pit mix big dog that might mess with it on the deck. I may get to put it under the carport, but I'll need to build a box around it and paint it, so it blends.

@finsfan congrats again.

+1 on the fat friends! I know, right?!
I definitely want the controller...and some DIY supervision maybe, because I suck! I'll look into 1098. So far, WLP002 had the best description for what I'm after, but I didn't look at 1098.
I am without responsibilities after I get kids to school tomorrow... and until I pick them up at two. If you're out and want to drop by, text me.
