Did some shopping today. My local bottle shop had 2015 Darkness and 2015 BCBS and a bottle of Rye Abyss on the shelf. Same place I found a bottle of BA 2015 Darkness just sitting out last week. I've been lucky recently!

Nice score! Thought this day would never end. First aid meet went long, had to get a haircut for the boy and that took forever, throw in a couple errands and the day's shot. At least I got to the LHBS and grabbed a sack of 2-row and one of MO plus other grains to do a couple brews next weekend.

Now to walk and feed the dog and get a beer!

I've yet to try any BP beers. Seems folks have a love or hate view of them. Probably should give one a try one of these days.

Man, this Watermelon Dorado isn't so good either. A very overwhelming fake watermelon taste. Made it through about half. Time for a real IPA.

Don't get me wrong though, I like some of BP's other beers. But these Dorado and their fruit variants can bite me. I thought the same about Grapefruit Sculpin.

Never been a fan of fruit beers I guess. Probably should just stick to their basic beers to try first. Watermelon beer doesn't grab me.

It's true, I am one with the science.

Not even dried beef livers were enough to convince him to come into the garage.

One of my favorite Tesla pictures.

We have a small T coil in the lab, ~30kV, and I keep my clearance.

Brew day done. Well, still need to pitch yeast. Cooled to about 90F before I got lazy and transfered. Glycol can finish. Gives time to drop some trub before I pitch anyways.

Never heard of that beer but love hazelnut beers. And breads. There's a brand near here that does hazelnut sliced bread. Love it. Sadly havent seen any this year. Used it for my peanut bubber breakfast sammiches all the time.

It's fantastic. I guess the place was a mad house and they sold out 600 cases in under 4 hours. I'm with you, anything hazelnut. Coffee and beer mostly I guess. Never tried much else.

Water. So dinner tonight is dry, not cool. I'll make up for it tomorrow during the game.
