Know why you never send an engineer into a dark server room?

Ooohhh... Blinky!

I ate a sandwich and didn't photograph it but it was good. Turkey muenster and pesto, in our fancy Foreman panini press.

Good to hear, thanks! That's pretty much what I've heard at this point. Hope they do the trick! He's typically the happiest baby ever - even when sick during the day. It's the night times when sick that really suck!!! How long did yours have to keep them in?

They eventually fell out at some point. Not sure exactly how long he had them.

Ours did horrible things when locked out, so we let her in to wake us up.

We can get away with it now (not sure what changed), but a few years ago, one of our 2 would just sit there and paw at the door (declawed) and sing the song of her people for hours on end until we let her in...

Here are those magnets I mentioned the other day to @finsfan for anyone looking to beef up their stirplate's performance. I rarely make a starter less than 2.5L (usually 3 to 3.5L for lagers including an overbuild).

This cheap and simple setup is great. I run the stirplate full blast.

Here is why I do that

Anyway this may be of minimal use to folks.

I could be less lazy and search this site, but how did you center the bars?

Look what I found in the garage!View attachment 334096

It's a song I know well.

Finished a run. Need water and beer. I might bottle some sours after lunch.

It's really nasty around here too. About to have to throw on a swimsuit and jump in my parent's luke warm hot tub to stay warm. [emoji12] View attachment 334107

Eh, we're not looking so bad here yet.

Testing the fit on the graphics. Need to touch up the windows and paint in the lights/grill before clear coat.

Looking good. Is it a surprise or has she seen it?

Starting off with this fine beverage. Tastes a lot like something Anchorage would put out.

She's 'helping.' Gotta wait for it to dry a bit more, then I can scrape off the overspray and hit the windows/lights.

She's having a hard time just letting it be though. Keeps going to look at it and asks if it's dry yet, lol.

Yard work is done (don't know if shovling snow is a good trade off in winter) having lunch at a sandwich shop with the kids then beer at home.

Drinking an Arnold Palmer for now

Winter. Brrrr

Hope y'all are having a great Saturday.

Jealous if your mammoth brew day finsfan

Its been a bear to deal with! Decided to up it to an even 20 gallons so added extra dme to each batch and also 8oz maltodextrin to each batch. First one is pitched already, og was 1.102. My efficiency seems to take a hit with a batch of this size.

Mine always does!

Dunno why this guy is so upset... He has a fully carbonated beer

Taking a break from paint prep in the nursery to do some damage on a growler of IPA from Grand Rapids Brewing Co. I see you guys are making great progress on the 10K goal. I was bumming about not going to Founders Cellar Raid and then I saw a pic of the line on Facebook. About 100 deep out the door.
