Having some McDonalds coffee and a sausage burrito. Wife ended up having surgery yesterday to remove the kidney stone. Didn't get discharged until 11:30 last night. Gonna be a long day.

I gotta start reading the thread more.

Best wishes and prayers your way, Holmes.

French press coffee. Signed up to a gym yesterday so I can start using their equipment/weights and start getting my right leg (and the rest of me...) back in shape. Nowhere near where I was in term of fitness these days, thanks to 15 weeks of no-weight-bearing etc.

It's gonna be fun.

Haha... no, we had a great time.

However, most of it was me running both cars or her running to get her car after she instinctively squeezes the trigger all the way and send the car rocketing across the room.

But I had an idea, tonight I'm going to take a piece of electrical tape and tape it around the 'gun' so she can only pull the trigger to half throttle. That way she can tool around and I can work on my speed laps.

Also, hope the wife recovers quickly @wyobrewer1 .

My cousin and I built "kid guns" by opening up a couple and taping off the potentiometer so it just shut off if you floored it. They jammed a lot, but it taught a toddler not to pull the trigger all the way.

I hate running early when the provider is running late. Hoping to be in and out of this appointment.

Hope it's a speedy recovery for her and that you get a quiet day.

Crappy office coffee after getting here 40 minutes late due to delays. Biggest downer of coming to the office is not having my French press.

Yeah, I thought about that... but this will be cleaner and easily removable. It's not going to take much to keep her from being able to pull the trigger back all the way.

You don't need to be missing your press. I have one at home and another (insulated) one at work. I grind beans every Monday and put them in a tupperware container - come to work, boil water, and make a pot of coffee to have at my desk. It's the bees knees.

What's the longest you knuckleheads have ever waited to reciprocate a trade. I just looked for address of people I owe beer to and realize that they sent me beer in March/April of last year and I'm just now getting ready to ship back.

Yeah, I suck at trades.

Like a month? But I let them know that would be the case ahead of time... Had one beer conditioning that I wanted to get in the box.

Four days. You're a monster. Okay like 2 weeks for a MAW box.

Jk, chit happens. Just throw extra HB in there

Hoping she's better soon Wyo.

Also Ninja/Hero turtles both had "heros in a half shell, turtle power" in my recollection.

It was a stupid thing to change, and I remember feeling, as many did, that we got buggered pretty good when we learned it was supposed to be "ninja". I don't remember all the changes, but they were all dumb. I just remember all the Hero Turtles merch.

Just to be clear, you are calling the changes made to TMNT dumb, right? Or should I be in a fit of rage right now?

How can you have a Master's degree in EE and not know how to plug a cord into a receptacle? Apparently they do not teach that in Kathmandu.

#workplacerant.

Beer thirty cannot come soon enough.

I'm only in the office one day a week and don't have an assigned cubical, so no place to safely store it. Not to mention my backpack is already about 50# so I'm not schlepping it up and back either. I figure it just makes me appreciate my press on the other days. :D

Was never a huge fan of the show. I watched it but not an avid fan. Never really won over by all the surfing vernacular. Always felt Leonardo and Donatello were carrying a lot of dead weight.

This was a great show. More my bag. Anyone else watch it?
