I do not put up with that. I had a doctor that did that. After about 90 minutes late for the third or fourth time, I went to the desk and asked for my records because I was going to another doctor that had some respect. They wanted to charge for copies of my records but I raised enough hell that they gave me my records.

Same thing with a vet I had. Always made me wait. He drove a Maserrati so I left them too.

Now have a great doc and a great vet.

Do not put up with that studff. We teach people how to treat us. If you continue to put up with it they will continue to make you wait. They know who they can make wait and they know who will not put up with it.

Every damn time. I told the primary I wanted a referral elsewhere, but they insisted... this doc is in the stone age (all paper charting) and it's only one doctor who should be retired...
My one coworker loves the guy and says he saved her life. I could probably name 5 other gastroenterologists that will actually return calls and you'll be in and out in less than an hour for an appointment.
