Off to gym. One more dry night. Sucks. NEED BEER.

These dry weeks at least convince me that I either am or am not an alcoholic, can't figure out which :mug:

+1 dude- I hit gym hard every morning and y'all alcoholics make me want a beer every night which is not a good thing for my training regiment

Well get your nasty ass feeling better soon and you can have one. And no ive had a handful of flower powers probably. Always good!

Before I had a kid, I was sick like... 5 times ever.

After? Every 6 months.

Sucks man. Worth it, but really sucks hard.

Yeah I've heard good things, excited for it.

I use a Hach Pro+

Both it and the Miliawakee mention by Qhrumphf pass all the selection criteria given by the folks in the know
  • 2 point calibration
  • Manual calibration (you decide not the device when to grap the calibration pt.)
  • Replacable electrode
  • Reading stability
  • Resolution 0.01
  • Accuracy +/-0.01 (Not quite true as accuracy is typically measured in RMS values)

All pH meters adjust for temperature. Temperature is one of the factors which affects pH and the device can't spit out a pH value without measuring the sample temperature. All ATC means is that it will give the pH at a given temperature. It's like saying my car came with an engine.

Typically pH readings should be recorded and compared at room temperature. That is the convention but it is not followed by all authors.

Temperature extremes are not good for a pH meter's probe. Best to cool the little sample for sake of probe longevity and reproducibility of data.

My meter, buffer pillows and cleaning soln. (don't need storage soln with the Hach Pro+)

I swear it's not my fault. Fins keeps goading me in.

Interesting that you don't need storage solution. I'll have to look into that.

Don't a lot of meters recommend just a drop or two of liquid in the cap to keep it a bit humid, but that you don't want it submerged as it shortens the probe's lifespan?

Speaking of trades anyone have some Pliny that they want to trade for a heady topper?

No, but I'd totally be ok with you just sending me some Heady Topper :fro:

Ouch. Core. Bag, jump ropes, box jumps. Definitely making the bag a regular thing. Might pull a @Psylocide and get into combat sports. My "swing blindly with a steel toed boot and throw wildy aimless punches" style of fighting works well enough when my opponent is drunk and we outnumber him 5 to 1, but uhh...I need to learn. Always wanted to try krav maga. Plus a buddy is a pro jiu jitsu fighter (in that "technically gets paid" but very much undercard in local bouts, but he's a decent record) I'd love to be able to drop him if I wanted :rockin:

Maybe you're just a Mild alchy? ;)

Hb ipa #2 almost finished. I agree that those Troegs labels are hidious. The last nugget nectar I had was one that was almost a year old that I returned the 6er to the store for a refund. I love that beer when it's fresh, but old and overpriced makes me unfriendly.
