Finally caught up so...
- I remove labels by soaking in PBW
- I don't label HB, just initials and ABV on cap
- hooray for plastic
- generally not a fan of saisons but B52 has a mosaic dry-hopped that I love.

Carry on!

I love saisons. They are awesome. Not people are fans, weirdly. They should release a bourbon barrel liberator aka bourbonator soon. It's very tasty out of the barrel.

Can't wait to try that one. Their mosaic saison has me planning to make one this spring. It may convert me.

I did a hoppy mosaic saison once... ended up turning into the driest IPA I've ever had in my life. It was ok, but too much on the hops and you lose all that yeast character.

Alright, thought about what I said while poopin just now and I'll retract that statement. Not probably, but definitely the worst style of beer. Next in line is probably Hefe.

Clove, peppercorns, banana? Wtf. This isn't a stew.

I'm gonna make you a special beer.

our oldest has a habit of dumping all sorts of crap in that pot and letting it sit with a lid on during the summer. it sits behind the garage near the ally. that one started fermenting on its' own.

Yesterday was a crazy day at work. Today is a little better, but not much. I could really use a beer.

I haven't caught up on old posts, so hello friendly friends.

Thanks for the warning. I found a recipe on HBT for a mosaic dry-hopped saison and was going to try that one. Only mosaic used is 3oz in the dry hop. That, or pick a good saison base and dry hop? B52's is light and not too hoppy. Bursting with tangerine/mandarin though.

Big dry hop should be fine... I used too much in the boil.
