Last of the 6er, and last beer until Wednesday night (club meeting) in an otherwise dry week. Hopefully the Caps make up for Tottenham's embarassing final 45 minutes earlier today (which if it weren't for the HurriKane netting a penalty that shouldn't have been a penalty, would have been a deserved loss and ejection from the FA Cup). Good start so far (but I would have said the same this morning when Eriksen took us up 9 minutes in).

Oh I'm sorry, is there NFL on today or something?

Fins I have that wood carrier from my in laws.

Psylocide i love that recipe. I just transferred from kettle to fermenter because its going to get stupid cold and I figure im going to have to bring it inside sooner or later

It was cool the trub stayed at the bottom I have never seen that i had a moment where I was like should I dump this in and I thought no and then I thought hell yeah!

FA cup would be a lot more interesting if a non-premier team would actually win it.

This is about to happen

@psy My furnace went out because ice crystals formed in and blocked the fresh air intake. Wife told me at 4 am that it was 60 in the house. Great way to wake up.

Love winter, but sounds like you got punked.[/QUOTE]

You know you live on a whole other planet when your heater freezes up. 60* must feel tropical in comparison to -11 no? Our thermostat stays at 68* year round.

biggest quote fail ever

It has happened 2 times in the 4 years I've lived here. I think it's an anomaly that occurs under perfect conditions.

In the summer we have spans of 80-90 with high humidity.

It's like... The worst place evar to live.

I'd love for some silverware to come to the right side of North London instead of the wrong side, but I agree with you. Unfortunately little in the way of giant killers this time around. Exeter have a shot against Liverpool, but I suspect that the Reds will try a little more in the replay and Exeter won't stand much of a chance. Then again, I don't think Jurgen Klopp has had enough time to reshape Liverpool into a decent side, so who knows.

Must be why y'all are the only state to have a placed named the badlands.

Although I do want to visit mt. Rushmore one day

Come on over. The hills are great, but Sioux Falls is the bustling metropolis.

Like, so many clubs bro.

Good thing to know, my clubbing days are behind me, but if my wife ever leaves me maybe I'll hit up the clubs and find me a nice Sioux girl to share a buffalo skin blanket with.

I will for sure have to try and hit you and the other far north Brewers up SD, WYO, MO are on our 5 year plan of visiting

Brought fermenter in I don't want to watch it all night. It was 100 when i checked it figure I'll just pitch it in the morning.

I accidentally 'no chilled' mine in the garage overnight down to 45 by this morning, transferred and had to warm it up to pitch at 60.

Cheesy. Dropped a **** load of trub though, pre-ferment cold crash is a thing.

I don't follow it close at all anymore. 15 years ago, when I worked for BT and reported to a die hard Man U supporter, I knew what was going on. Now it's just an excuse to drink in the morning.

Finally relaxing. Made a half he pot of spaghetti sauce that's baking in the oven and I'm almost finished roasting two cups of beans (long overdue). Took a couple of walks this afternoon to enjoy the balmy weather, but rain cut the second short. Cold is moving in now and the winds are howling. Will be a bit of a shock tomorrow.

I don't pay much attention to the earlier rounds, just the 3rd round once Prem teams start entering (obviously). I suppose I have an obligation to support Bristol City, but they were never my side.

Accident my a.. you said f*** this. I figured I'd rather drink beer and not worry . Assume if it was summer it wouldn't be doing much better anyways. okay so I threw that cheeze s*** in and I didn't even have to I'm certain its the secret. You didnt go straining that soup either.

Having this. It's good but I was hoping for a little more. I poured a little too aggressively thus the extra thick head. I have two more in the cellar, i think I will put some age on them.

Did a bunch around the house today instead of brewing. Hopefully next Saturday. The projects in this place will never end, I just realized. A year from now we'll be closer though.

I can put brakes back together a lot faster and easier than prying them off. I guess if I had proper pry bars it would go a lot smoother. I'll remember that for next time, if I don't just roll the van into the lake first.

This over carbed mess is lucky it's delicious or I wouldn't drink it.
